Default What Did You Use or Suggest For Cleaning The Headliner

So now that the leak around the "A" pillar is fixed, I'm stuck with that brownish ring stain on the headliner on my H2 2009 Lux 4 door. I know steam cleaning is out as it would melt the glue used to bond the headliner material backing.

There is a bunch of stuff on the web. I did at one time use some "Tuff Stuff" cleaner, but that requires tons of scrubbing and Peniel Colony labor.
So, What did you use on your headliner or what would you suggest?

A lot of places that do detailing won't do headliners.

i have used it on my daughters chevy trailblazers headliner and a few spots on my h2 near the grab handels and my seatbelts from greasy hand prints. it helped just dont get aggressive scrubbing the headliner if you dont have too. try a test spot somewhere. it works great on all interiour panels too as for engine also and wheels. it iis pretty versatile stuff. i remember they used to use the stuff to service typerwriters and office machines back in the 80's 90's.

Thanks Bronxteck,

I'll order up some from amazon if they have it and give it a try.
