Yes, when you use a proper adapter and wire that correctly.

Personally, I killed O Star long ago, got zero use for that.

I've never used it in any vehicle owned! Now, @ $50 per month for onstar? I only pay $50 per month for 2 lines unlimited with metro.

2 things, yes, as others have said with the correct adapter and wiring your onstar unit (and sirius sat.) will work along with all you steering wheel controls. A good place to start would be contact Crutchfield with the model of your aftermarket radio. They will tell you exactly what you
need to accomplish this, next you will need to pull the radio to exactly what you have installed, it is possible you may already have what is required but it was not installed properly.

I can understand wanting onstar especially if you have another family member driving the H2, but today with everyone has a cell phones onstar is expensive for what it provides. There is talk that in the new infrastructure bill the government is trying to pass they are looking to impose a mileage
tax and onstar might just be one of the vehicles that will provide your usage to the government. Not saying this is a done deal or that onstar for sure will rat you out but its something to be considered. Honestly if it in fact does happen I think there is going to be a lot of disconnected onstar units, lol
