Moisture Or mice, if you have a bunch of issues at once?
Was it sitting outside for the 5 years? Florida type climate?

If you’re not mechanically inclined this is one of those issues you should just take it to a reputable mechanic. Look under the truck and under the hood for evidence of rodents(nests, droppings, chewed wire) and it could give you an idea of what you’re dealing with. Then take it to your local auto parts store and have them scan the codes to see if there’s anything other than the abs/trac control codes and let us know. Better yet take a picture of the codes and post them here.

Honestly, I am not sure. I am not mechanics. I'm in the market for a Hummer H2 and eventual conversion process to increase the total milage since I can honestly use 100-200 miles in a day without thought. I cant afford the fuel without alternatives.

If your check engine light is on or the hood is open, remote start will not work. I think that's what you're referring to.

I see you mention your replaced the BCM and state "bcm I didnt make coding for it" and you also have another thread about the stereo is locked. Why did you replace the BCM? Unclear if you had the replacement BCM programmed but it needs to be. If a BCM is replaced and not programmed you can have all sort of issues from the stereo, AC, lighting, control systems, etc. Probably can even cause ABS, traction control problems as well since some of the buttons and sensors go through the BCM before they are sent to the PCM. The BCM controls many things and also acts as the go-between for many of the systems.
