And, traction control, brake light on
Hello everyone, I am new to this forum so thank you ahead of time for dealing with my ignorance. I am thinking of purchasing a 2005 H2. It has had an engine and transmission swap. According to the seller, the ABS, traction control, and brake light came on after the engine swap. They claimed that all I need to do is take it to the dealer to calibrate the engine and transmission to the computer. Does this sound valid? Can I clear the lights myself?
Welcome.
Let us begin with how to use this forum. When posting tech questions about your H2, post them exclusively in the H2 section. Crazy how that works.
Do NOT post your H2 questions or any questions on the end of an Old Azzed Thread and especially not in an H3 section thread. Please READ: Old Threads/'Necro-Bumping'
Might want to invest in a clone Tech II Scanner with bidirectional capabilities as you have a one off, engine swapped who knows what such that your problems may be unique to your vehicle.
