The beauty about this set-up is if the external trans cooler fail for whatever reason, just disconnect both the trans lines from the external cooler hose and reconnect both directly to the radiator cooler.
I'm not in front the truck now to check what you did .
but did you get to bypass the radiator cooler and the small cooler or just the small tranny cooler .
