Well with this heatwave my H2’s temps started climbing higher then normal today. Pretty sure its the thermostat going out. One option at the parts store is one that will only fail in the open position and wondering what are others thoughts on that option. or which is the best options currently?

 

I've used the ones that only fail open, not a problem imo, I think Robert shaw was name of those thermostats, no reason not to use that kind

 

Genuine GM, never had any issues with them, do a coolant flush at the same time and your good to go for another 5 years. Your engine and radiator will thank you.

 

Stant makes the best thermostats. I have not had good luck with the failsafe T-Stats.
