Swap the 6.0 from my h2 to a new 5.3 vortec

I know this is a Strange engine swap. I need to know if it can be done, has been done and what the results in power and mileage were. Anyone know?

i do not think the 6.0 ECU would even know the difference as long as the crankshaft reluctor wheel have the same number of vanes so the 5.3 would have to be from a suv/truck of about the same vintage and not from a front wheel drive because your transmission will not mount to the block. different bolt patters on front wheel drive engine block
