Bought recently in wonderful condition. But....we opened the sunroof now it's open and wont close...also the back large window did the same. Went down now it wont close. Any ideas ? Fuses looked good under the hood, havent checked the interior ones yet. 2005 h2 SUT

 

Motors are good. Switches need attention. Check/clean contacts. If you cant get them to roll up, replace the switch, in the meantime jump the connector(paper clips work).

 

I tried at the switch for the midgate switch and it sparked :/ Same with the sunroof switch but it didnt do anything but make a click noise.

 

Wrong jumper connections, check for a blown fuse? Use the wiring diagrams.

 

If you hear the sunroof motor trying, then the plastic covered track cable is probably degrading (somewhat common issue). No new replacements are available either but if that is the case you can usually assist it closed by pulling it forward with one hand while pressing the switch with the other. No idea on the rear gate window or if there is just some other problem affecting both.
