hey guys! i forgot what the name of the coating is but about 10 years ago i got my truck sprayed black, its like black paint with liike a rough texture on various parts of the vehicle (foot steps, front fog light area, rear area near the exhaust)
well that coating doesnt have the black shine to it anymore and it started breaking away and rusting so i decided to get it done again, i am also thinking of getting the undercarriage sprayed

in this day and age what would you guys recommend to get? just do the same thing again? or should i get a diff material etc i forgot the name of what the coating is called

Sounds like any run of the mill bedliner. The mains ones around me are Line-X and Inyati. I did a bunch of parts on my rig with Raptor Liner which I did myself and it has held up better than the professionally sprayed bed in my last truck.

I too plan on doing a frame-off chassis restoration, just haven't found the right place that is meticulous enough to sand blast and restore without damaging other components, plastics, wiring harnesses, etc. in the process.
