Would recommend have 5K set aside 4 possible repairs. Something I did do. Couple things that need fixed on the one I purchased but I'm still under my allocated amount.

Yep got plenty in reserve for repairs. My current vehicle could blow up any day too. Any vehicle can break down, but from what I read I don't expect much trouble from a GM truck with 60k miles
Congrats on your Yellow H2 acquisition. I got hit by the YH2 bug back in March myself. I found a 30K mi '06 Yellow Lux in NC and had to eventually fly to Charlotte and drive "Her" home. She had been dealer detailed and looking very shiny and bright and just like new inside as well. Mine cost a bit more and I've since put on new tires, replaced water pump, fluid and wipers and added a yellow / chrome spare tire cover. I also replaced the radio with a new Kenwood system and added a backup camera.
I'm very impressed with the solid and Lux ride she gives over the course of 5k miles so far.
