Side mirror wobbles and won't fold on its own
My driver side mirror is loose and wobbles around on its support arm/neck thingy on its own. At high speeds it is visibly shaking. The power fold function does not work, unless I give it a nudge, then it will automatically fold in or out. I've tried cycling it many times, giving it help, and it always moves if I help it but will never start on its own.
From my searching it seems the common mirror fixes were for the old style mirrors, not what is on my 08. Does anyone know where I should start?

Circling back to this problem - have been living with it for a few years but as I'm checking off items from the to-do list, this is getting closer. I've seen a ton of posts about replacing the motor for the glass adjustment, but nothing about the folding motor. Any info for the 2008 mirrors folding motors?
In the next couple of months I'll be opening up the drivers door to replace the lock actuator, speaker, and add dynamat. I'd like to get it addressed all at once to reduce the times I have to remove (and potentially break) the door panel.
