Hello everyone. I am installing smoked side marker lights to match my top markers and was wondering if there is a plug for the rear side markers like on the front. Or if I will have to splice the wires.

 

No splicing needed.

 

You can splice the rear and its over in 5 min, or tear out panels and get to the plug.

 

The rear lights do have a plug you do t have to remove the interior panels . I just installed mine here’s the video

I bought a set of new led side lights for my H2, on Amazon, they said they were DOT approved, after getting them, i noticed there are No DOT raised letters on the face, and there is no reflector in the light housing, after checking with DOT i sent these back, DOT said if there is an accident and those replacement LED lights are on the truck at the time, i would be getting the ticket. These after market lights are not DOT APPROVED, and do not have a {red/amber} reflector in the lens, the reflector is so in case someone come at your side at night they can see the truck, otherwise they will not see the truck, if your parked with your lights off.
