Thanks HummerZ, it may be just what the doctor ordered, no doubt self leveling would be the key as some of the other stuff seems like a pain in the *** to deal with,

I do know the 3M one I used on mine was self levelling as well. Comes out fairly thin compared to run of the mill caulking and did not need any sort of smoothing ot tooling. Was actually very easy to apply.
