Are you referring to this part in yellow? Is that trim? I figured that was your roof sealer...

There are others on eBay as well. It is one piece and goes under the metal rail. I can only guess your are either broken or intentionally cut off for some reason.
Looking at those pictures, I'm not seeing anything different from what I've got on mine. It looks like the roof rack rail is built in part of this which is what mine looks like....right? I'm very confused now.

Well it looks like, at the very least, I need to put some new seam sealer on. That link for Trueline Automotive seems pretty nice too, although I question if it's just plastic 3M taped on the gutter, will it actually help divert water away, or would it end up trapping it in there?

Obviously pack in the sealer first, then cover that mess with trim. Call them and get more information.

Forget the tape, just stick it back in place with seam sealer to hold it. Most any brand will work, or you can go with
ACDelco GM Original Equipment 10-2013 Body Joint and Seam Filler Compound ACDelco GM Original Equipment 10-2013 Body Joint and Seam Filler Compound
Simply apply under the trim, press/hold/put weight on/until it cures.

Btw, that trim appears narrow, and the seam appears exposed?
