Ok Thanks. there’s not really a way to repair, it looks like both halves of glass separated. I forgot to take pic with cowl off. It’s got a bunch of stone chips anyhow. I just don’t want the hummer hacked up by installer.

how much did it cost? If you don’t mind me asking. I’ll pay cash. I don’t want an insurance claim. Did they use the cold knife method or the wire for removal? Did they hack up any trim?

Yes it came with the new strip at the top. Very soft new rubber compared to the old one...

That I am not sure of.... was not really watching the windshield guy when he installed it. I'm pretty sure it came already attached to the new windshield though.

Upper molding 15857806 discontinued, however included with the windshield



Cheap replacement for upper molding found on Ebay Rubber Car Windshield Seal Sunroof Waterproof Window Glass Moulding Strip 10fts(Measure & cut to fit)

Btw, did you watch the video I posted above(start @ 8:40)?

I have found Safelight to use the cheapest Chinese glass they can get. I had the GM dealer replace mine.

Yea I've heard mostly bad about safelight. Dealer installed, I had never thought about that.
