All key FOBs suddenly stopped working at same time and won't re-program (batteries new) no error codes or or warning lights - instrument cluster display and lights as normal. No water leaks.

Could the be a receiver problem in the passenger door module?

If so would a replcement door module need re-programming?

Any thoughts much appreciated..

 

Not much info in the eSI system for a 2005 on it other than if it ends up that the locks also do not work using the buttons inside than replace the PDM.

Basically says use a Tech2 and check for any codes. Then check remote transmitters (no chance that all would fail at the same time so you can rule the remotes out). Then replace the BCM.

I'd still try reprogramming. Also on a 2004 (might need to select 2003 or 2004 on the Tech2) there is a "refresh" function for the PDM that might be something to try. I've had to select the wrong year to get at certain Tech2 functions on a number of GM vehicles now... Attached are docs on it. The refresh stuff is for a 2004 as it came up with a service bulletin... There also might be updated software for the PDM in TIS2000 as well but I'm not sure.
