The factory GM Tools (Tech2) only allow you to modify very few things but have all of the full diagnostics and tests. Aftermarket tools (EFILive, HPTuners, etc) that have the ability to modify many more things, do custom tunes, etc are expensive. Without the proper tools the firmware/tune files are useless.

Obviously you keep hoping for a different answer and I am not giving you the answer you want but the reality is what I have been telling you.

There is no firmware specifically for disabling VATS. If you have an EFILive or HPTuners you can modify your pcm tune to disable it.

As I said before, without one of those expensive tools you cannot do anything with a tune file. You need to find a local shop who does custom engine tuning. They will have one of those tools that can disable it.

If you have the equipment than you connect to the PCM, download your current tune and make the changes.

There is no firmware just for the VATS system. It is part of the entire PCM firmware as well as certain functions in the BCM firmware. If you were to get firmware online it would need to be heavily modified to change the VIN, set the injector tables, spark timing, transmission configuration, and more for your vehicle. You can load a tune for a different vehicle but then yours will not run right.

There are other ways with the wiring buy it depends on what year and model you have.
