Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Definitely, I replaced my oe shocks when I purchase my h3 adventure, a HUGE difference in ride and control, besides that, my a$$ feels much better since driving on these shocks. Btw, billsteins are designed for lifted/offroad, so you will not find a comfort zone riding on those shocks. GL whatever you decide and if you decide to keep your rig, monroe has lifetime warranty.

KYB has a Monomax but I heard there stiffer, so its either reflex or gas a just. anyone have input on the gas a just?

Just like Rancho, made by Monroe.

I do not like KYB shocks! For your situation it sounds like the Monroe would be perfect.

yeah i heard the kyb gas a just are firm so i dont think ill be going with those.
i honestly want to run bilsteins but dont see it justifiable to get them since i barely drive this truck and will only drive for another 1-2 years and then its just gonna be parked for basically ever ahah.

i expanded my options to skyjacker, and pro-comp, was thinking of doing monroes but went to some local shops and they all steer away from them. i know there all budget but just trying to find the smoothest shock, will update with what i go with!

I've had Blistein, Rancho, and I prefer the stock OEM. Blistein feels just like OEM, and Rancho feel like mush and look like Y2k. You cannot go wrong with the OEM on the H2.

was going to get the monroe or the kyb but didnt want to wait for rockauto to ship to canada, so i got some cheapie shocks. Procomp es9000, paid $200 cad total with tax locally for the 4 shocks.
got them installed the other day and there not too bad, my old oem shocks were seized/very worn so the truck was driving very smooth for the past couple months, right when i got the procomp es9000 installed, i noticed it is much firmer but it feels controlled. it is a firm/rough ride but it doesnt bother me too much., I will comment further when i actually take it on the highway in the near future but so far in the city it hasnt been too bad or annoying., i honestly would have put on bilsteins or something ebtter but i rarely drive the hummer and it will barely see any km's after the next couple years.

thx for alll your help
