Default recommended shocks for smoothest ride?

hey guys looking for some smooth shocks recommended for a hummer h2, i dont offroad and just drive city and highway the most, i dont want to spend so much on bilstein 5100. i noticed a ton of people run rancho, and i guess that would fit in my budget but was wondering if there something else that might be a bit cheaper but gives me a smoother ride? im only driving this truck for like a year more so thats why i dont wanna spend too much.

thanks!

I have Bilstein 5100s throughout and I feel they ride smoother than the stock shocks. I cruise over the desert here in AZ at 40-50 without any issue.

dont go gabriel, mine were shot after a year driving on city roads.if you can afford the rancho you can get the bilstein 4600, those would be a better alternative than the 5100.

ahh yeah i thought the ranchos 9000 were 70$ but not in canada, so bilstein and ranchos are a no go now

im basically looking between kyb gas a just, gabriel max control, or rancho rs5000, all these are $60 cad + any other comparable shock

do yourself a favor, save up til you can afford the Bilsteins 5100. you will be wasting your money on the the cheap stuff. you will end up spending twice as much in the long run.
