Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
Was there something that was intended to fit in the rear storage trays? I’ve searched but can’t find much. Is there a kit or tools that came with hummer or added from dealer? The one looks like an obvious cup holder, but what is small pocket below it for? A couple golf tees?
The driver side pocket held the tool or adventure kit. You can see the small slot for the tiedown strap. Only some H2 came with it if part of the particular model trim. The right side did NOT come with anything. Just extra storage for stuff like wet-wipes, etc.
Driver side yes. There were a few optional kits and it is designed to hold two of them. One being the first aid kit, then one of about 3 other optional kits. Originally it would come with the first aid kit, optional kit, a piece of foam to go under the first aid kit and then a strap. Pic is of the first aid kit, strap and instructions, and the Mag Light / Leatherman / pressure gauge kit. This kit was a new old stock one that I just recently sold for $425.00.
Pass side usually would have the optional air ride accessory inflator hose bag sitting there if it came with the air ride and/or the front hitch extension bar and pin.
All of this stuff is almost always long gone and missing. Also most of it is hard to find. The front hitch requires a longish pin for the vertical hole and the front hitch is "supposed" to be used with a extension bar.
