Default Rear brakes locked up

So I had my rear brakes lock up and took them apart. Saw that the rubber on both rear calipers was gone and the calipers wouldn't retract so I replaced them bled with all new fluid and also replaced rotors thinking it was problem solved. Well I still have the issue. The rear locked up and after awhile of getting pissed i ended up cracking the line at the master cylinder allowing the fluid to depressurize and i was on my way. So mechanically the rear calipers are working as they should. The only other thing I'm thinking it could be is the master cylinder is not allowing the fluid to depressure the rear back into the resiviour? If there is some that knows the H2 brake system better please let me know if there is anything else. Thank you in advance for your help.

Did your truck sit for any extended time? Mine started giving me fits after it sat for 4 weeks while i was working on other projects. My rear rotors would literally glow and light up the road way....you could feel the heat from 4' away. I did notice that when they start sticking, if I would back up 10-15' they would release. I screwed around w/ them for couple weeks, never found anything out of place. I've had a brembo brake kit sitting in boxes for a while and just decided it was time to put them on since I couldn't correct the issue. My issue was completely random, like 1 out of 20.

If your **** got as hot as mine did, you will want to replace the axle seals also. 33,000 miles on my truck and they were completely cooked.

Is your emergency brake on? Are the shoes inside your rear disk/drums good?

So the fix ended up being a master cylinder. The thing i learned was if you puch your brakes and they slowly go to the floor you master cylinder is bad! Thanks for all the help.
