Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
Has anyone installed a Push Button Start system w/Security like the one pictured (or similar) in an early year (03-07) model H2? I'll be in an open dash installing a new Tesla style radio & backup cam system, and thought hmmmmm, this may be nice to add a bit of "modernization" while I'm at it. Any issues or concerns from those who have done it?

not really sure if this cheap system will work with something as new as the h2. With vats and the bcm I don’t think it’ll work.
Compustar is the best by far but zero support for DIY people. They only support or warrant anything if it was bought through and installed by an authorized dealer. Still can be found online and DIY installed though.
CS - while it sounds like probably the best guaranteed solution, it also sounds as tho it adds another level of "certification" before starting. Which seems to be counter productive from a get in and push a button perspective. Would hate having to sit there trying to "authenticate" myself over a poor cell connection in freezing temps in a bad bad neighborhood with a riot going on!! LOL
The kit i looked at seemed reasonably doable, but when the instructions indicated tapping into an "oil" circuit i began to have doubts about the rest of the interpretations. Suspect they meant a fuel pump ckt but.....
