I bet they will be crazy bright with my LED’s. I think I like the white housing better. Will continue to search but these may grow on me too.

Ok lightscare in, you can pull the factory wires out by pushing in the clip on the side of the wire and pulling it out the back. So I just swapped the housings. Also couriodity got the best of me and I wanted to pull one of the housings back off to see if it would brake. I noticed a bend in the prongs that hold the housing into the trim. But it didn’t brake. I don’t recommend doing that as you might not be so lucky.

Very interesting. So are the clear ones the ones that are in the 2008 and 2009 trucks? I'm trying to figure out when they transitioned to the clear. Between the two, which do you prefer? It's hard to tell by the pictures.

I like that the white housing hides what’s behind it better, but the clear one is really clean looking too. At the end of the day I’m happy to have a matching set and really am ok with both. I looked for a bit to see if I could find some trim off of a 08-09 with a light so I could see if it was clear and didn’t really find any. So I don’t know. I do recommend the swap if you need to replace them though. They fit and work fine. There just clear instead of white.

Nice. Thanks for the head's up! After further review it appears that the '08 and '09s do not have these lights in the B pillar.
