Default Pillar Footwell Light Housing

Hey guys, I have a broken footwell light housing on the driver side (left) I want to replace. Anyone know the part number or have one... I’d take both if you have them, or I really just need the driver side. This is the footwell light on the pillar between the front and rear seat.

Please message me of pist here if you can help.

I think it’s the same light in the glovebox

I noticed that was the part number but the pic and description show that it’s clear, where the original is white. I guess I could replace both?

If I can’t find a replacement from a part out... I will just replace both. I could use some epoxy and glue it in and forget about it too.

Anyone ever replace one before.

Perhaps the 08 and 09's went to clear, and that's the only replacement part GM made? Not sure. Let us know what you find out.

Good point on the part. I think I may bite the bullet and get two. I hope to get this H2 restored and looking nice. And I know doing it right is not glueing the light in the trim. Someone some day would see that it was glued in and I just dont do things that way. Not when there is an alternative anyway.

Ill post pics of the install and parts after I get them.

Just made an order... 96.00 shipped for the two lights. At least I can stop looking. I’ll follow up later this week.

Lights showed up today. Unsure how I feel about them so far. It’s set up for you to cut and replace but I’m going to see if I can pop the pins out and just replace the housing.

Pics will follow as is as I find time to try it.
