Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
2005 Hummer H2 SUV Luxury Model with Bose/Nav/Rear DvD Entertainment system. I decide to remove my OnStar and replace with a pocket. I left the VMC fuse in place. Now, when I checked my audio system; no sound out of rear speakers - used the fade feature to discover the problem. Has anyone else had problems like this? Is there anything else I should check or maybe reconnect pins that were pulled with OnStar.
Note, in the process of removal I also remove the rear DvD player from the floor console to give me more compartment space - we never use the headrest DvDs, Dvds are outdated anyway. I do not think this is the problem as it has no connections to speakers, only to headphones.
Any help will be well received and appreciated. Finished results of OnStar pocket & floor console Parts Removed
Found problem. Hand to do with rear console cover. Who would have thought that the power source for the rear speakers runs through the Rear Seat Audio Module (rear radio controls), it was popped lose. A simple reconnect and everything is back to normal. What GM will do to save money on cheap Chinese wires always amazes me.

Okay so now I decided to delete the rear radio control switch and replace it with a pocket. Problem is, now I need to figure how to jump wire the connector to keep the rear speakers working.
I cannot seem to find any sort of wiring schematic for this.
I found the wiring schematic for the audio system. If you look at the bottom, you will see my plans. Do you all think this will work? Any suggestions? I will appreciate any helping advice.
