OK ..What Do The Experts Think About This "Mirror"
Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
OK ..What Do The Experts Think About This "Mirror"
In relation to the Mirror thread, I found this. It looks like it would work in case you messed up the removal of the side mirror glass. I measured mind and it looks like the correct size. It says heated. How do you think this would work ? And What are "with lasered holes in the reflective coating. Includes Heat Grid."

GL with that stick on glass! Years ago I got a dozen blind spot mirrors for the wife's ride with 3m adhesive you simply clean with alcohol dry mirror then stick on. Only 1 problem, it falls off within a year.
@Mark R I also bought one before hunting down an OEM... it is very nice quality glass. Burco 3746H. I just replaced a mirror and cleaned up the housings this weekend... see thread here
The OEM passenger side mirror only has heat, no dimming. The Burco glass comes with heater connectors required.
Differences:
The Burco glass comes as glass only without the plastic mounting plate or rim. This means you need to remove all the broken glass and adhesive from your OEM mirror mounting plate and reuse it. Without the OEM plastic mounting plate, the glass is useless. That plastic mounting plate is not available anywhere.
The Burco glass is convex... it is curved... the OEM glass may also be curved... cannot quite tell, but the OEM glass uses a super strong adhesive mat that fully attaches that mirror to the mounting plate. The Burco glass does not sit flat on the plastic mounting plate, but is curved and has a very thin adhesive layer... If your mounting plate is really clean and flat you should be good else you may need some 3M adhesive tape or silicone adhesive to make sure it sticks. I did not trust it... if I can pull it off... I was thinking that gravity would as well.
I happen to have the Burco sitting here... so here are some photos...
FRONT REAR SIDE BY SIDE WITH THE MOUNTING PLATE HERE IS THE MIRROR SITTING ON THE PLATE AND YOU CAN SEE THE CURVATURE
I have not purchased this... but this is the only Ebay seller I have seen that will sell you a mirror and a mounting plate for the H2. They are from Ukraine, and the mounting plate looks 3D printed... but you could get this mounting plate and use with the Burco mirror as a last resort! 116 sold.. so someone on this forum probably has purchased one of these.

Thanks for taking the time to put that together My driver side seems fine it's the passenger side that's weird. Today it's working ok in reverse. Tomorrow who knows.
So 2008 and 2009 are the same? The top section of the listing won't let you put in 2009. I have a 2009 4 Door Lux. So I assume it's the same Mirror.
Also confused.. Are the saying the backing plate is the same for left to right and the mirror is only LEFT or driver side???? I would need the passenger side or by both rather the deal with scraping glass off of the adhesive.
They also want you to send a Picture of yours before you buy. Am I reading all the info correctly?
@Mark R Let me know what your situation is... I think your passenger motor is not working correctly but your glass is good. If that is the case you should be able to pull the mirror off the motor without harming the glass. You will see in my other post that the mirror motor broke into two parts way before that factory glass got close to breaking. You should be able to get the glass off your motor safely. The OEM glass is thick .. much thicker than the replacements.
I would not order anything unless you actually have a mirror glass issue! Yes, the 08/09 H2 use the same mirrors.
To pull the glass off the motor... use the controls (if any work) to try to get the top-right edge lifted as much as possible so you can fit 3 fingers under the passenger top right edge. If the controls don't work... then you can force that edge up by pushing the mirror in on the left side and out on the right. Get 3 fingers into the top right edge so you can push from the rear down and out. Use gloves to be safe and wiggle it. Use some blue tape to hold the mirror loosely to the housing so if it pops off it doesn't fall.

Thanks Bruno,
Yep I saw you post.... I have the new motors I got from my parts guy. I usually stock parts before they fail. I have quite a few here for other stuff on the 2. I did see you post on the mirror removal. That was great!!! I have book marked it and read most al the post on removal. And I also remember the DANGER... WARNING WILL ROBINSON...remove mirror and you own risk. L.O.L.
Right now it is working again. it's off and on..one day good next week no good. So ..when the weather gets warm enough I will do the bolt leak thing on the roof rail under the marker lamp. I figure by then the mirror will have S_ _T the bed. To bad you are not close..I would drive the 2 to your house and watch you break my mirror.....LMAO. Thanks for you help and your great posting..
Edit:
So I see you are in Pittsburg..that's 3 .5 hours from me. I do Corvettes at Carlisle usually every year. Maybe I could drive up and wrench on my 2 with a few beers before then.
