Hey guys just looking to change fuel using 93 octane but the other day my station was out so I put the middle grade in she ran great and gained 2 miles per gallon what do you recommend I'm tired of paying such a price maybe even 87 that would be nice don't feel like reading g the manual what does gm recommend for the 6.0 vortec

GM recommends 87 on stock 6.0 with no aftermarket tune.

MOVED from the HF Help & Suggestion Center where it says to NOT post any vehicle questions because that section has zero to do with any vehicle. It is for asking questions on how to use forum features.

If you have a stock tune, anything more than 87 is throwing away cabbage because your PCM is not programmed to use it and won't.
