Hi, new member checking in .
I need some urgent help as my h2 Hummer 2005 is going for its test [DOE, we call it NCT in Ireland} on next Tuesday. I cannot find the VIN Number on the chassis the number needs to be engraved to the chassis as the testing centre will not accept a sticker or the number on the windscreen.

You can find your VIN number in one of the following locations: on the driver's side door jam, under the windshield on the driver's side, near the firewall of the vehicle, or on the steering column.

 

he needs chassis location not the normal locations

 

On a 16yr old vehicle, corrosion removal may be required, located in the rear quarters.

 

Many thanks help-and prompt reply however still looking, if I got a location where it’s stamped that would be great the fact I got the complete under body including chassis sprayed isn’t helping me find it,
