For some reason it may gets shorter cause a few time I touched and feels hot . Not to burn but little over warm . Also it got an Led which stay on all the time

My only doubt is if this could be enough discharge a battery overnight
Well .will Keep an eye
Only one way to find out

You never know. If it uses resistance heat and is that warm it may be drawing a couple of amps of current which may be enough to drain down your battery.

I had same issue draining and damaging 3 batteries in 30 days. My electrical mechanic found it was a damaged ABS sensor wire that was shorting out causing computer to run and drain battery...ABS/TC lights were on. I was about to send module in to repair. No need ones short was fixed... Hope this helps.

My 2006 H3 dies after a single day of not driving it. The dealer told me the control module was bad. Replaced it for around $800. One month later it they replaced the battery. Another $440. Still dying. Are there any suggestion that may cure this problem?

For all those battery questions do yourself a big favor and
get one of these get one of these
.

They are smart instruments that calculate the charge state, health %, CCA etc all in a matter of seconds

Its not a "dumb" multimeter that simply measures voltage, but a smart computer that takes small micro-current samples to calculate the internal resistance of the cells and uses math to match well known parameters and analyse the state of the battery.

I'm not a salesman, just an electronics engineer, and one of these will simply take out all the guesswork concerning the state of your battery!

Plus they are cheap!
