I'm based in the UK needed two front tyres size 315/40R25 but have been impossible to find. Does anyone know where I could find them?

Wow - good luck finding those. That is one oddball size with nearly no selection. Quick search online even for pictures really only shows some photos in Japan and it looks like that is such an obscure and uncommon rim size (25") that Pirelli is the only company that even made a tire for them.

Best I can tell is that Pirelli discontinued making them quite a few years ago. It is quite likely you might not ever find replacement tires for those wheels and might have to get all new wheels and tires that are a more common size. I'm actually running into a similar issue on a very old custom truck that has a 1 ton dually rear Toyota axle that the only wheels ever made for it are 14" and there is almost no 14" tires with a heavy duty load range made anymore except for like 1. Mine is even worse because it is an oddball bolt pattern and dually wheels are specific to a size of tire so I'm probably going to have to have custom wheels made at some point in a 16" rim size just so that I can get proper tires for it.

Zee I think you would be well served to find a new set of wheels. Those 25"s are about impossible to find, poor handling and premature wear compared to 17", 18" or 20" inch rims.

MixMan would Goodyear Endurance trailer tires work for you? They have thick sidewalls and are heavy duty.
