Default Need a new AC resistor for a 2005

Hello everyone. I have a 2005 H2 and I recently had some cooling issues. The mechanic asked me to order a new ac resistor module (3gsh-19e624-ca) found one online worked for about two days and then the blower continued to stay on even after the car was turned off. Took it to another shop they said the blower it self needed to be replaced as it must have burned out. Replaced that and the ac started working fine but the same issue of running even while ignition is turned off started again. I think the part must have been a cheap Chinese part and thats why its not working like its supposed to. Has anyone else had the same issue. I was thinking about buying another replacement but now there are so many other companies available online not sure which one to buy. Has anyone else tried a part that worked that you could share with me? Its 114 degrees outside can't drive without the AC please HELP!

It could be the bad blower caused the new resistor pack to go bad, or the RP could have been bad out of the box. However, the HVAC Control module could need re-programming or replacement as it may be telling the fan to run. The HVAC control module doesn't go to "sleep" as soon as the key is turned off, but it should be sending the signal to the fan module to stop. A shop with TEC2 can diagnose if it is working correctly.

If a new resistor fixed it for a few days, but it started again, then the blower is/was bad and blew up the new resistor. You have to replace the blower AND put another resistor in, as the replacement is now bad as well.

I've tried various brands of resistors and blowers units; they all seem to be junk.
