Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default Need Help

I need help. Nothing electric works on the front passenger door on my 2003 H2 from the switches on the front passenger door or the drivers door. The remote does not either lock or unlock the vehicle. I have looked at the fuses at both the engine and under the dash but cannot see anything wrong. Can anyone suggest what could be wrong? Please send any info to daewylie@gmail.com

have you checked fuel pressure ?

Got gas in the tank? Sure your gas gauge is correct

I haven't noticed any check engine warning light.
I put about 5 galls gas in tank to make sure. Not sure how to check gas pressure.
A Hummer dealer said the inboard computer needs to be reset.

another dealer said the computer didn't need reset. It might be the fuel pump and wanted to drop the tank. Have you any other ideas?

dude check you fuel injectors. remove one of the injectors and have some one crank the car to see if fuel is coming out. I bet it is the fuel pump. if not fuel pump it is probably related to fuel pressure. Dude this is not a big problem. and yes you will have to drop the tank to check fuel pump.

Hey forget my last post. this is much easier way to check pump. Remove the fuel pump relay. its is probably in the under hood fuse box. Then crank the car till all it does is crank and not start. Then put the relay back in and crank the car. See if it starts. if all it does is crank the fuel pump is bad.

Default Starting problems on a 2003 h2

The mechanic dropped the tank , put the new fuel pump in,engine started immediately and has been running perfect now for 3 days. The old pump came with the vehicle some 105,000 miles ago. The dealer wanted $780 for a new pump-we purchased one on line from Parts Geek in New Jersey for $179.
Many thanks to all who gave suggestions to me problem.
Regards,
Doug
