Has anyone here used this product.
I have been told it is very effective for the 08/09 L92 Piston Slap issue when cold.
I usually don't like oil additives and use 5w30 High Mileage Mobil 1 synthetic. While I know piston slap on these engines is a normal thing when these engine are cold or first started and not dangerous, but it still bugs me.
If I can use an additive that is safe to help get rid of it the better!
All general use additives may not be “snake oil” but you won’t ever see any increase in engine life. It probably won’t make the piston slap go away. That’s just the design of the engine. If it does, I’d be concerned that you’re changing the properties of your engine oil in a way that may not make your engine run/be lubricated properly. The best thing to run is only what is recommended in the manual.
I have always felt the same way about additives and never used them (other then some assembly lubes and zinc additives on newly assembled engines)
Generally anything that affects the viscosity of the oil is questionable. Probably the best thing is just live with the slap.
Always do thorough research on any additive you put into you ride!
I currently drive less than 1k miles per year on my 3 and the only "additive" I've needed to add: Seafoam Motor Treatment (to eliminate a P0300, 12+yrs ago) Seafoam Trans Tune (to correct stuck shift solenoids 3+yrs ago)
My maintenance over the years included, Mobil 1 full synthetic 1-2x per year
& AcD Dex VI full synthetic fluid; 1 flush, 2x pan drop fluid/filter change.
Currently at 93,782 miles, & runs/shifts like new.

I completely understand your concern and annoyance with the slap. My 08 has it really really bad. Like the worst you’ve ever heard and it’s done it for ever. It’s louder than my dads power stroke diesel before the temp needle is off the peg and it keeps doing it until about 5 minutes after reaching full operating temp. It also starts again after you stop at a red light for a few seconds and start driving again. But I’m at 123171 miles. About 63,000 with the supercharger on and it still runs good and doesn’t burn oil. And hey, I’ve seen people with these engines go 3-400k miles with just jiffy lube oil changes. Usually the car falls apart around the engine.
It genuinely freaks people out but I just tell them I got forged pistons😂
The only real fix is to get a louder exhaust👍
Here’s a video of my truck doing it to calm ur nerves
