Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default Love/Hate Relationship With Electronics

Of course I'm speaking about My H2. Let me beat this topic up for a few lines.... What Topic you say.... Power Side Mirrors!!!
Since the weather changed about a month ago and got cooler.....Guess What??? My Passenger side Power Mirror now tilts down like a new unit.
I post this just to show the Love/Hate thing on my 2009 H2.

So who knows wha gave in...The electronics...The Connection.... The HUMMER GOD...Your guess is as good as mine....

Enjoy your HUMMER.......

I'm starting to think this in GM electronics in general. My 03 Escalade Ext. mirrors started doing the same thing now that the weather is much cooler here in little ole Delaware. I haven't driven my 09 H2 enough to experience this issue, yet.

Yep it sounds like a Hot weather thing. Bad connection on a connector on the Tilt Side. Sometimes I got a small jerk on the tilt and that was it, Now it's like it never happened.

here is one. In cold weather i feel that door and dash buttons freeze. i can feel them much harder to press than normal temps. so i worry one will break or get stuck and just let the heating run for awhile before pressing other buttons.

Well I spoke to soon. Went to exercise the 4 wheel drive **** and stuff. The illumination behind the numbers went dim going from 4 wheel low to 4 wheel high. Gave the **** a few taps and the full brightness came back. I know there's an Led behind there... Must be a cold solder joint. I know... Not an important post. But it does show what cold can do to electronics. ....Some funny stuff...at least I find it funny as long as it doesn't cost me money.
