Hi, I messed up and ripped the seal around my front headlight... seal? The rubberish piece that goes around the the housing of the light... mine were very dry rotted and I ripped it... any luck using something to replace it ? I can't find the seal anywhere without buying the whole assembly... thanks in advance
I don't believe that seal is sold separately from the entire headlight assembly. These assemblies are no longer available from GM, but used ones are available on eBay for under $100. Just get one from a later model year so that the rubber is in good shape. NOTE: the right and left headlights are different so make sure you select the right one, and get one with a fully intact rubber surround. Check your lights, but if I recall that rubber gasket is glued to the plastic frame, and may not be removable. You may need to replace at least the front assembly that it is attached to.
