Default Lift gate fuse error

I've had a lift gate fuse indication on my dash for a while now. The hatch does not lock although I can hear a clicking sound inside the lock mechanism.

I ordered a brand new locking mechanism part and still, the error code is there and the lock does not actuate; same clicking noise inside the mechanism.

I checked all the fuses inside the vehicle, they're good.

What am I missing?

WTF, 3yrs later and you still haven't repaired? It's not a fuse, what part did you replace?

Making head way. The center locking mechanism was broken before, not it unlocks.

But I noticed the the left and right locks are either side are also powered.

If I hit the lock button on the fob, are the left and right locks supposed to lock? Nothing happens with the center locking mechanism. Only when I press unlock does it move the plastic over to allow the handle to release the cables.
