Interior gauge lights staying on
I tried keeping the thumb wheel down and left it down for a few hours before bed and lights stayed on but hummer did start no problem.
My abs lights and traction control lights are now on. I unhooked the battery the other day and this seemed to help but only for a day. I guess these are just the quirks I need to learn about and fix on a 23 year old truck. I am going to go back to my sound audio technician and see where the battery is draining from.
Thanks Guys
Any idea which routes I should take mounting some aftermarket nerf/running boards? I recently ordered a pair thinking they would mount to the frame but my H2 came without the factory rockers. The only system I had luck finding was
Rocky Road Outfitters in Utah there rock sliders could be used as step ups it seems because they mount directly to the frame. Any input or ideas would be appreciated.

Also you can't mount the nerf bars to them. I have a whole review and thread on them if you check my profile it's in there somewhere.

I appreciate the feedback. Just got back from Idaho and just getting back on here. What is your recommendations to do for step ups or nerf bars instead of going with buying the stock rocker bars? Does not make sense that there is nothing out there that can mount to this thing.

its a 2003 H2
I put LED bulbs almost every where in the interior
viper alarm is 5806v
as far as the installer they are new to me but have been around for a while. Not sure if they have done a whole lot of hummers
I will be taking it to the installer soon as I can leave it there for a half a day.
Thanks

I took the hummer in this weekend to the shop where I got the alarm installed and door actuators done. The owner went through all my fuses checked my battery and did a number of tests to see what was drawing so much power and why my lights were staying on. He said my trailer brake was drawing a bunch and unplugged it and told me to only plug it in when being used. He also cleaned up a bunch of wires and junk behind the dash from the previous owner's stereo system he took out. He said that it is now drawing power that a hummer should draw while being turned off. He recommended possibly putting in a marine shut off switch since I am not driving it every day and may let it sit weeks at a time. He also said that I had drained my Gel battery so low that I never was getting a full charge on it and that it needed a full charge. He informed me that it was a great battery and that he runs the same one but that Gel batteries take twice as long to charge so even driving it a few times a week was not charging it completely. It is now fully charged and I am going to see if it starts after letting it sit for one or 2 days. I was getting tired of using my jump box.
OK, as I suspected in my previous post. Someone screwed around with the wiring. Most common problem on the H2, as guys can't leave the OEM wiring undisturbed and chop up the harness not knowing what they are doing. (Like tapping and splicing with crimping, instead of proper soldering and waterproofed heat shrinking).
Also, if you are going to let any vehicle sit for weeks like you say, does not matter what battery you have in it.
You need to leave it hooked up to a trickle charger.
Hope your problem is solved.
