So for a 2005 Hummer, will the #52494070 bracket work? The threads don't make this clear.

This bracket DOES NOT WORK for a 2005 H2. Which is why I asked my previous question of what part number to get because this thread does not make this clear...still looking....

i will use my daughter aluminium ruler for this cover....cut it to the dimension then there it goes....

Still haven't done this mod. I'm just going to reuse the piece I cut out and seal it with frog tape, that's the plan anyway.

Goal, checked local salvage yard, told them Escalade, Sierra, Tahoe, Suburban, 2000-2002. Gave me about 8 row numbers. 1st Tahoe had it and the bottom cover was already off. $2.16.
