Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
I just completed a refresh on my side steps. I painted them last year but they began to flake off where the plastic step brushed the rail. Took off the plastic steps and fiber glassed the cavity and kept the same contour. Sand, primer, and recoat with Rustoleum gloss black. Added a few coats of acrylic clear for good measure. I then replaced the plastic steps with a rubber tread mat. So far so good. Here are some pictures:
