H2 is in the garage, grill against the wall, battery dead, can't open hood, it's against the wall. Is there a way to get it out of park with a dead battery?

I'm pretty sure if you turn the key ON, you can shift it to neutral??

With the battery dead you can't put the tranny in nuetral. There is a disconnect switch under the console. Been awhile but you have to remove either the console bucket or trim cover and you can push the disconnect which will allow you to shift into neutral. Seems like there is a thread on this. try the search function.

think positive, you can easily move it by simply put it on a neutral mode then if it takes you a little bit hard, try to gather a manpower for help.

Default Dead battery, unlock gear shifter to get in neutral.

Information worked great thanks!

just remove center console glove box 4 screws, long handled straight tool, touch botto right side of shifter handle mechanism push it towards drivers side, this releases locked shifter and you can adjust to any position, takes under 5 minutes to complete.

If you have a good working H2 then it will not go in to neutral I had a dead battery and I could not manually turn the key and do this .
