Default My blower does same thing, Help?

My blower does the exact same thing unless I remove the 40 amp fuse in the engine compartment. Have you found a solution? It's getting cold in North Idaho right about now.

Anything else staying on, interior lights, dash idiot lights, radio? Does it quit after about a ten minute delay, or run till the battery dies?

Hey all,
Its a common problem, not that it goes out alot - just mean it happens and its an easy fix.

Fan Blower Resistor aka Fan Blower Motor Control Module (PN 89023355)
Its on the right side under the glove box

Its like 3 screws (I think), and unplug and swap
Done.

Hope this helps

@jsbihn it just happened to me, shut engine off and a/c was blowing full bore, anyways hopped on here seeing that it must be the blower moror module,? resistor? while driving home i swung by o'reilly parts store, he said they couldnt even get those parts, but i was able to find the HVAC fuse under the hood, pulled it for temp fix, do i have to order these parts from GM only? and Lord i hope its true that its a easy fix,,,, also got the blend doors or something else screwed up because air only blows thru defroster, not thru vents or to the floor, whata mess,
