Start with new plugs and wires and then report back.

I checked the spark plugs even though they're not quite a year old. So I have bought a new set of coils for it last year. But I didn't throw away the old ones so I switched them back out to see what would happen and it's running fine now. I'm going to drive it a few more miles and see what happens. Hopefully this resolves my issue.
Thank you for your help

Hdog, I'm curious what happened with your P0300 mis-fire issue? Did the old coils actually fix it or did it come back shortly after? If it was the newer coils -what brand were they? I'm working on figuring out my own mis-fire and also collecting as much related info and everyone's different cause / solution they have found that worked in their case.

Yes switching back to my old coils solved the problem. I haven't had any trouble since. If you buy new coils make sure you buy them locally. I didn't. They were supposed to be ACdelco but I think they were knockoffs.

No they were advertised as ACDelco coils. I found them on Amazon.

I purchased a set of MSD coil packs from Jegs around three years ago, paid around $600. Right at the one year mark two of them went bad, giving me the P0300 code on/off. Switched back to GM brand, haven't had an issue since.

I've bought a couple of "genuine ACDelco" items from Amazon before. They even had a holographic sticker on the package. Was NOT genuine ACDelco and crapped out within a short period of time.
