So I bought some LED headlights with like a nice drl halo thing and then 4 months later I got pulled over because he said my headlights looked purple and I had no clue what he was talking abt and they were white enough for him to let me go, then 1 month later it started a purple hue and started flickering just on the right one so i bought new headlights and the same right one has a purple hue to it? i’m wondering if It’s a fuse i need to change or something. it looks very odd

 

Most likely cheap Chinese headlights which are garbage. There are some Youtube reviews of 7" round LED headlights and pretty much conclusive that the vast majority are complete garbage. Most put out little useful light, tend to blind the snot out of all other drivers, etc. Decent ones are going to cost at least a couple of hundred for a pair.

 

I bought these off Amazon, the Truck-lite ones I bought before went up to $250 each, I bought both of these for $125.00 on Amazon about 3 years ago, still working great, same lighting output compared to Truck-lite headlights…
