Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
It will take some wiring work and fun but you can get a factory rear wiper/fog light button from a full size GM SUV (Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban - one with a rear wiper and factory fog lights) of the same year range to control the fog lights versus sticking an aftermarket switch somewhere. It can also be done wiring it through the factory BCM and underhood fusebox (there is actually a fuse and relay spot for fog lights since its the same fusebox the trucks and SUV's use) but that gets a good bit more complicated due to the BCM not being programmed for it. The other catch is the factory button is momentary so to use it without the BCM you will need to get a latching relay which is what I did. There is also an LED indicator on the button so you need 2 wires from the switch to the latching relay you install, the second wire is tied to the relay output to light the "on" led..
Good Info MixMan, I saw them at the bone yard when i was looking for the Blower module, will have to go get one.
Made some progress and have all the lights mounted and just pending on the electrical.
