H2 Rust? First time buyer.
I agree with @H2-SUT . In general the rust in the photos does not look bad. However, there are many southern and western H2s that literally have no rust. My first H2 sat in a barn for like 10 years in Nebraska and has no rust. Salt is the killer. If you have the time to work on that H2 to bring it back to life @H2-SUT style, then I don't see anything horrible in the photos.
But there are so many other things to work on and fix on these H2s, that I would recommend spending the time to find one that meets your price range and has a lot less rust underneath.For example, this 2005 SUT just sold on Bring-a-Trailer for $15k... very little rust compared to yours. If the engine and transmission were good... this was a screaming deal for an SUT...
