How many Hummers are in the UK?

That's a good question, some are registered whilst others kept in storage, respectively this varies from 50 (2021) to the maximum of 206 MOT tested each year (smog test)

Driving around the UK, I've only ever seen one on the road!

The Hummer's rarity makes it iconic and "head-turning" people will often come up to me and ask about it, but there's always one question that gets asked the most.

So do you get asked questions, and if so is there a common one?

It would be interesting to hear your answers and compare notes on this, I'll reveal my question later.

 

The question I am asked the most now is... Do you want to sell it?

When I first got it, it was mostly fuel mileage questions. Still tell everyone it gets 21 miles per gallon. When they say, Really? My answer is yes. 10 in the city and 11 on the highway.

what color is that? (it turns 3 different colors depending on how you see in the light)
what have you done to the engine? (with all the mods to the engine it doesn't sound stock)
what's the millage?

I get the gas mileage question, and a lot of younger people asking what it is. Crazy to think many of the teenagers working a drive thru are younger than half the Hummers out there.
