Default H2 Interior

I have a question to ask everyone that owns a hummer h2.

Does everyone's interior crack and rattle? I have owned 2 H2's and both have had rattles and creeks.

Why does that happen? Is there anything that can be done about it to resolve it? Doesnt it bother you?

Thanks in advance!

Yes mine does especially if someone leans on the door panels while driving.

On another Note: how can i retain the leather smell of the seats, mine does not smell like leather anymore, is there something or a treating that can be put on the seats to bring it back> regular leather treatment i have (Black Magic Leather Care) does not do it.

I have a 2006 H2 with 60,000 miles on it and don't have any creeks or rattles. As far as the leather smell I still have that....I use McGuire's leather conditioner on it.

Its not really rattles of creeks, its the plastic door panels. and I hear it on the back roads more, highway driving it is not noticeable.

I don't know where you live, but I live in Florida and the roads are pretty smooth here. I've driven it to MA this past spring and didn't have any rattles or creeks out of the door panels. It is a Florida truck so exposure to rough roads is very little. A doctor owned it before I did and I don't imagine that he did much 4 wheeling. Since I've owned it I've never been off road with it. I know that the doctor used to have it serviced at the HUMMER dealership, and he drove it to Atlanta GA at least once a month. So most of the miles on my H2 are highway miles.

My 03 door panels and center console door squeaked and rattled over rough roads. The 06 I just bought seems to be much quieter.

Mine are pretty quiet for the most part. On rough roads I hear noise but I could also be the handheld CB or Winch controller cable I keep in the drivers door pocket.

I get a few creeks from my door panels on rougher roads..its farily common on the H2's. I heard about people taking them off and using double sided tape to really hold them on
