Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
I am looking for some guidance regarding my 2004 Hummer H2, Magna Charger. Wow does it fly!! I am trying to price it. Has only 44,000 miles, and numerous upgrades. Cannot find another like it. Any suggestions?
Below is the Cargurus price trends for the 2004 H2... which says the average with average mileage is roughly $20k. However, an average H2 of that age is roughly 150k+ miles. So you are going to be north of that. What adds value to an H2 are:
Low mileage
No accidents
Great paint
Good seats with little wear... as the drivers side edge is the part that gets the most wear
No rust
Upgraded tires and rims to make it pop... an H2 really needs to be running 35x12.5r20
Luxury or Adventure Packages
The supercharger would have cost roughly $5k for parts and installation back in the day, and double that today... but you'll be lucky to get 30% of that back.
> There is a 2004 on cars.com with 34k miles @ $37k
> There is a 2004 on cars.com with 60k miles @ $35k
That is probably where I would start... get it detailed and waxed and it will sell...
Brunob00,
Thank you for taking the time for your detailed response. It truly helps me to price it, if I choose to let it go. Much appreciated and take care.
The price is whatever the market will bear. Personally, I would not buy anything with an aftermarket super or turbo charger so your market is likely smaller than if it did not have the Magna Charger.
