Surprisingly not finding any reliable info regarding H2 body mounts. I have a 2003 H2 with 49k miles. Truck is in virtually new condition, but given that Im in Maine and do use the truck year round, my frame has rusted through in a couple spots. I have purchased a real nice southern salvaged frame and have a shop lined up to do the transplant. I want to replace everything I can while into this. In particular I want to replace the body mounts. Unfortunately a couple of the OEM bushings are no longer available and Its difficult to determine which positions the availble OEM mounts fit. Im seeing people mention just using bushings for a GM 2500, but again, which bushings in which positions on the H2. Any experience out there would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

 

maybe you can ask if they can also send you the mounts and bolts when you source the chassis. if the frame is in good shape maybe the hardware is as well. that stuff will probably just wind up in the trash anyway once they remove the chassis.

 

Worst case call Predator Inc, they specialize in body off H2 upgrades. They will most likely have the answer and options.

I just ordered the Energy Suspension body mounts (best price on Amazon at $242) that a member here recently recommended. Apparently they fit, and are all the same. Somehow bunch of the OEM ones have different part numbers for different positions. Not sure why that is, different height? If so, not sure how well the Energy Suspension ones will fit. But I would like to ask him that also.

@sturmbringer maybe knows the answer to that? He was very kind to share a lot of detailed info.
