Default GM to Chevy transfer case swap

ELECTRICAL QUESTION
Second transfer case is on its way out so I'm going with with a NP246.
NP246 Pinout
NP246 Pinout
In the infinite wisdom of GM the encoder motor harness diagram for the BW4484 doesn't exist.
I can only assume since the pin layout is identical to the H3, that's what can be referenced. H3 Pinout
H3 Pinout

If I rewire the 8 pin plug, will it function? What do I do with the Right/Left side speed sensors on the case?

I plugged it in under my rig and pressed through the buttons and big shocker here, nothing happened

A little more about my 2005 H2.
Fabtech 6" lift, Dirt logic compressed nitrogen shocks, 4 on front 2 large on rear.
6.0 cold air intake, chipped, 4L80E swap w/precision billet piston high stall torque converter.
Solid rear axle, detroit locker, 4.88 Yukon ring & pinion, Rear differential master overhaul bearing kit 9.5.
Gmc Sierra 2500 front CV axles, aftermarket transmission cooler.
MTX 38 x 13.5
18" Rockstar rims

you might have to add orange and tan and figure out a switch for the lock solenoid. wether it needs a ground or 12v.

I hate to burst your bubble on this one, but ive been down this route of swapping t cases in the h2 before... recently actually, and its hard. You can find a post on it in my profile. The 246 is far too different from the bw4484 to get it to work. Even if the wiring lines up, the internals are far to different. The good news is gm's interchangability is pretty good. You need to find a transfer case control module from a chevy that came with an np246 transfer case, and replace yours with that one. I'm not sure exactly if you'll have to change the wiring going to it or not, but it should be able to program to the truck and work.

Can I ask why you chose a 246? most people pull those out of their trucks and throw it away. I don't think it's stout enough for the h2's weight.

I also noticed you have a 4l80 swap. Did you swap the output spline on your trans to a 27 spline? Or did you swap the transfer case to one that has 32 splines?

For something like the h2 I would recommend the np263(27 input spline) or the np263hd(32 input spline) to swap in. They're basically indestructible. And I think you'd have a better chance of the wiring working out since there is only 3 mode selections instead of 4 like the 246. No auto4x4 mode to deal with. You will still need a new tccm though.

I just swapped a 263hd in my 08 h2. Unfortunately they updated the canbus this year so i cant just swap in an older tccm. Im trying to use an arduino microcontroller to drive the actuator motor on the case and get it to work with the dash switch and lights. Its looking like its going to work. I have everything built and coded almost and it shifts the case with the dash switch. Just wrapping up odds and ends at this point.

Yeah the 4L80E is a 32 spline.
I read your previous post in depth and understood it, thanks for taking the time to reply.
I chose the NP246 because the shop the swapped the transmission right before I bought it in 2019 said any NP246 will work. The drivelines are the same length, the wiring is nearly identical. So I bought one for $150.
I will be happier with a NP263HD.
